3/27/4 - Filmjunkie Film Festival - San Fransisco, CA - This one came out of nowhere, I was done entering festivals, but got invited to this one.
2/29/4 - Jewel Box Theater - Seattle, WA - This is the premiere for my wife's short film "25 Cents". We're also showing an encore of eRATicate and the premiere of my mock-commercial for Shin Cup Soup. Should be a blast!
9/27/3 - Coney Island Short Film Fest - Brooklyn, NY - I've entered a few fests in New York, this is the first one it got into, so I'm happy about that.
9/27/3 - Port Townsend Film Festival - Port Townsend, WA - I will be attending this one. It's playing with a feature for the first time. I feel like it'll be more memorable that way, instead of fighting for attention against 10 other shorts.
8/22+24/3 - 20,000 Leagues Under the Industry - Cleveland, OH - This is one I really wish I could have made it to. The film actually played twice, which is extra cool.
8/2/3 - Mini Cinema Film Festival - Fairmont, WV - eRATicate was invited to play by the fest's organizer.
7/26/3 - HypeFest - Los Angeles, CA - Didn't get to go to this one, I really would have liked to, seeing how it was in LA.
7/19/3 - da Vinci Film Festival - Corvallis, OR - I'm planning on driving down to attend. I have no idea what to expect. -- Was a bit disappointed by the fest and the crappy presentation of the film.
7/12/3 - REwind Video Fest - Rapid City, SD - I didn't even know it played there till after the fact.
7/12/3 - Brainwash Fest - Oakland, CA - Played at a drive-in, which I think is pretty cool.
6/20/3 - Little Theater - Playing with a collection of Seattle shorts. -- This was the worst response I think I've seen the film get yet. Maybe most everybody had already seen it?
5/25/3 - SIFF - I will of course be in attendance. Can't wait! -- This was a blast! My best experience with the film yet. The Seattle audience ate it up. It seemed to get the best response of the bunch.
5/25/3 - Light Plays Tricks Festival, Kingston, Ontario, Canada - Nearly an identical play time as the SIFF screening, weird. -- I don't know how this screening went, hopefully well.
4/25-27/3: - Beg and Grovel Festival, Columbia, South Carolina - Can't be there, but happy that eRATicate is playing. -- I have no idea how this screening went.
2/22/3: - U.S. Super-8 + Digital Festival, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey - Unfortunately I can't be there. --- Won Best Comedy and the Audience Choice.
2/21/3: - Texas Film Festival, Texas A&M, College Station, Texas ---- Couldn't be there, not sure how the screening went.
1/23/3: Tromadance has accepted the film into their festival. I'm going to try to be there. The festival is in the shadow of Sundance, so it should be an amazing experience. - Find out about my experience here.
12/10/2: Northwest Film Forum has a collection of Seattle made shorts. -- About 20 people are in attendence. I felt that eRATicate got the best response of the 10 or so shorts. I wasn't really nervous about this one.
11/9/2: The "Official Premiere" of eRATicate. We rented out the Jewel Box Theater to show the film to all our friends, i.e. everybody we know in the Seattle area. -- The show went wonderful. We had about 100 people turn out. Everyone was very complimentary afterwards. Probably the friendliest audience that I'll ever see it with.
10/30/2: The first screening is at the Little Theater, here in Seattle. They're showing a collection of Halloween themed shorts. -- This turned out to be a great "test screening" of the film. There were about 30 people in attendence. Everybody seemed to enjoy it, there were a lot of laughs. It was quite a rush seeing it with a real audience.
9/16/3: We have entered the film into the following festivals:
Wish us luck on getting eRATicate into these and many, many more. Hopefully it'll be playing a festival near you.
